Hall and ion slip effects on Unsteady MHD Convective Rotating flow of Nanofluids—Application in Biomedical Engineering

M. Veera Krishna, Ali J. Chamkha · 6 Jan 2020

Abstract There is an intense worldwide activity in the development of instrumentation for medical diagnosis and bioscreening based on biological labeling and detection of nanoparticles. Based on this profound observation, Hall and ion slip effects on magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) free convective rotating flow of nanofluids in a porous medium past a moving vertical semi-infinite flat plate…

Radiative effects in a three-dimensional flow of MHD Eyring-Powell fluid

Tasawar Hayat, Muhammad Awais, S. Asghar · 31 Mar 2013

The aim of this exploration is to discuss the radiative effects on the three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of an Eyring Powell fluid. The flow is induced by a stretching surface. Resulting nonlinear analysis is carried out for series solution. Exact solutions of arising problems are displayed. Graphical outcomes of involved parameters are presented.

Williamson fluid flow due to a nonlinearly stretching sheet with viscous dissipation and thermal radiation

Ahmed M. Megahed · 7 Jun 2019

Williamson boundary layer fluid flow and heat transfer due to a nonlinearly stretching sheet is undertaken in this research. An important aspect of this study is that the thermal radiation and viscous dissipation phenomena are also included in this model. Because there is still much need for more accurate results, the viscosity and the fluid…

The Kumaraswamy Marshal-Olkin family of distributions

Morad Alizadeh, M. H. Tahir, Gauss M. Cordeiro et al. · 24 Feb 2015

We introduce a new family of continuous distributions called the Kumaraswamy Marshal-Olkin generalized family of distributions. We study some mathematical properties of this family. Its density function is symmetrical, left-skewed, right-skewed and reversed-J shaped, and has constant, increasing, decreasing, upside-down bathtub, bathtub and S-shaped hazard rate. We present some special models and investigate the asymptotics…

Nanofluid flow over a non-linear permeable stretching sheet with partial slip

Kalidas Das · 22 Jul 2014

In the present study, the problem of boundary layer flow of a nanofluid over non-linear permeable stretching sheet at prescribed surface temperature in the presence of partial slip is investigated numerically. By means of proper similarity variables, the governing equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations which are solved using symbolic software MATHEMATICA. The similarity…

Journal of the Egyptian Mathematical Society template — frequently asked questions

How do I write a paper in the Journal of the Egyptian Mathematical Society format?
